Fear or Love?

I love author Neale Donald Walsch's quote:

‘Ultimately, all thoughts are sponsored by love or fear."

All our thoughts, ideas, concepts, understandings, decisions, choices, and actions come from either fear or love. Considering which energy is 'sponsoring your thoughts' is something I think about all the time since reading Neale's quote.

Fear causes us to contract. It makes us make decisions that are small and tight and contracted. I try to remind myself to stop and check the source of my belief.

Love expands. It pushes us forward and opens us up. It can still be scary! But it feels different than fear.

The way we give our spiritual energy is by being loving. Loving to ourselves, loving to others and loving to the planet that we live on!

  • Choose love over fear:
Check your thoughts, actions and interactions with others and yourself. Ask yourself - "What would love do?" when deciding to respond to something.

  • Practise self-love, self-forgiveness and self-acceptance:
Being gentle and loving to ourselves is the hardest thing to master. Most of us have a nasty 'internal voice' that needs constant work to keep it gentle and kind. Accepting things about yourself, learning to love who you are is your life's work.

  • Contribute to the collective consciousness:
Embrace love, empathy, and kindness in your interactions with the world.
Recognise the interconnectedness of all energy fields and how your energy can influence the world around you.

Brené Brown says that 'Spirituality is recognising and celebrating that we are all inextricably connected to each other by a power greater than all of us." When we can accept that we are all connected, then we are able to be way more holistic in our approach to managing and enhancing our energy, fostering self-awareness and contributing positively to both our own well-being and the broader collective consciousness!

LISA LOVES:

An excellent way to celebrate yourself, to love the skin you are in and to be loving to the planet is to use products that tick all three boxes. Weleda has been around since 1921 and is committed to helping healthy skin in a sustainable way.

Their award winning Skinfood Nourishing Cleansing Balm is my new favourtie product! Closely followed by their Skin Food Ultra Light Dry Oil - both products make my skin gorgeous and the planet better!
