Dancing with Your Soul Self

Have you ever noticed how some days you just feel...lighter? Like you're being carried by something bigger than yourself? That's your spiritual energy in full flow, my friend!

I'm a spiritual freelancer (no kaftans or wind chimes required!) and I've learned that spiritual energy isn't about following rigid rules - it's about connecting with who you were before the world told you who to be.

Think of your spiritual energy like an invisible water balloon surrounding you - your aura! Just like a water balloon, it can be full and bouncy, or it can get saggy and depleted. Here's how to keep yours buoyant:

Check Your Spiritual Plumbing

  • Are you holding onto old hurts? (Those are energy leaks!)

  • Have you been ignoring your intuition? (That's blocking the flow!)

  • Are you trying to be what others expect rather than who you truly are? (That's putting kinks in your spiritual hose!)

Clean Your Aura
Just like you shower your physical body, your aura needs regular cleaning too.

Try these simple techniques:

  • Stand in the shower and imagine silver light washing away any heavy energy

  • Take a salt bath (your aura will thank you!)

  • Spend time near water or in nature

  • Dance it out (my personal favourite!)

Connect to YOU
Your soul is constantly sending you messages - little nudges, gut feelings, random ideas. But we're often too busy to listen!

Create some soul space:

  • Sit in silence for 5 minutes each day

  • Journal your thoughts without judgment

  • Notice what lights you up (these are soul clues!)

  • Trust your inner ding (as my teacher Louise Hay would say)

Remember: You are a soul having a human experience, not the other way around. Your spiritual energy is your birthright - you just need to clear away what's blocking it!

This week, treat your spiritual self like your best friend. Listen to it, honor it, and watch how your energy shifts when you do!
