I Love Writing
It was suggested to me recently that I should use AI to write my blogs.
Using AI to write my blogs is the equivalent of buying a ready-made meal when I love to cook!
Yes, it solves my problem of needing something to eat but I miss out on the creativity, curiosity and creativity of the process!
I love AI. I use it daily for boring tasks that save me time. I am cautious of outsourcing my magic to it. The magic of the process. It might give me an outcome but it also puts work out into the world that quite simply is not me!
Aside from wanting to deliver authentic content, I am also nervous of putting my brain to one side in the name of efficiency.
Based on the use it or lose it theory, I reckon our brains are like any other major body part. If they are not used, they quickly degenerate into mush.
A mushy brain is not my goal!
If you want to go deeper into the risks that we should be thinking about, read this written by my friend and Naturopath Susan Hunter.
Process over outcome has always been my goal. When we do things we love, people can tell. When we outsource ourselves, we start to dilute our authenticity and step into dangerous territory!
The goal of my writing is to inspire people by sharing my thoughts. Not to produce loads of empty words to add clutter to people’s inboxes!
